Men Roping Men 2026 is an annual conference focused on education and community building for men and masc-leaning non-binary/trans/gender nonconforming folks who are into rope bondage. This year, the conference will be hosted in New York City October 9-11. The conference starts on Friday at 12:00 p.m.
MRM welcomes rope enthusiasts of all skill levels to participate — from beginner to expert, there’s something for everyone. Each couple will have the opportunity for 14+ hours of direct instruction, performances, information skill sharing, and a chance to connect and play with other ropers.
Registration starts June 15th! We have 25% more tickets this year and we still expect it to sell out. Join our mailing list to get notified when registration goes live.
This year we're offering some alternatives
Dedicated Learning Tracks Tracks are multi-session curricula that run across the full weekend, each focused on a specific topic and skill level. Instructors have designed these from the ground up for MRM — you'll work with the same group and the same instructors all weekend, building on each session as you go. It's a structured, immersive way to commit a full weekend to leveling up in one area.
General Sessions Prefer more variety? General sessions run simultaneously alongside the tracks — different instructors, different topics, different perspectives. You choose the path that fits how you want to spend your weekend.
Open Tying and the Unconference Regardless of which path you choose, there are 12 hours of unstructured time available to everyone over the weekend. Friday afternoon kicks things off with a full unconference — you set the agenda, pick the topics, and find your people. Saturday and Sunday each include two hours of open tying, hanging out, or presenting a mini-topic.
Travel, food, and lodging are not included in the conference registration cost. We are working on a discounted conference rate at a local hotel and will have more details after registration
We recognize that financial barriers can sometimes hinder individuals from attending events like this. Between travel, lodging, meals, and registration fees, costs can add up quickly. We also recognize that barriers to accessibility will look different for different people.
With this in mind, we have a limited number of scholarships which can cover up to half of the total registration cost (not to exceed $300 per tying pair). Applications and awards will be kept strictly confidential within the scholarship sub-committee.
