May 26 - Education Track Announcement!

Hello Ropers,

A few weeks ago we told you something new was coming to MRM 2026 — dedicated learning tracks! These tracks allow for a full weekend of focused skill-building with the same group of people, and one of the tracks provides a single-ticket option for those who’ve been waiting for an opportunity to attend on their own. Today, we’re pulling back the curtain on these two track options!

The Beginner Track
This track is built for folks who are new to rope — whether you have some experience, have watched from the sidelines, or just know this is something you want to try. You’ll start from the ground up with an instructor who has designed a curriculum specifically for MRM. You’ll work with the same group of people all weekend, building skills alongside fellow aspiring ropers. No prerequisite skills, no assumed knowledge needed.

Here’s what makes this one different: the Beginner Track is available as a single ticket. You don’t need a partner to attend. If you’ve been on the fence about coming to MRM because you didn’t have someone to attend with — this is your chance!

The Suspension Track
This track is for riggers who are ready to take their work off the ground. You’ve got the foundational skills — now you want to go deeper (higher!). The Suspension Track is a focused, weekend-long curriculum for attendees serious about developing their suspension practice: technique, safety, flow, and the kind of nuanced judgment that only comes from focused repetition with expert guidance.

This track is designed for intermediate to experienced riggers and their bottoms who are already working toward or within suspension. If you’re newer to rope, the Beginner Track is where you’ll want to start — it’s the foundation this level builds on.

Not Sure Which Path Is Right for You?
Open format classes are still running alongside the tracks all weekend, covering a whole range of topics. Whether you want an immersive track experience or a more flexible mix-and-match schedule, you’ve got options.

The Instructors Are Coming
We’re not done yet. The instructors behind these classes are some of the best in the community, and we'll be revealing them soon. Keep an eye on your inbox and follow us on Instagram and Bluesky (@menropingmen) — you won’t want to miss it.

See you October 9-11 in NYC!

May 4 - New Format: Tracks, Classes, and Choices

Hello Ropers,

We’ve been hard at work planning MRM 2026 in NYC this October, and we can’t wait to tell you about what’s coming.  Based on feedback from you, we’ve made some changes to our education approach for this year’s conference.

Dedicated Learning Tracks
We’re introducing two dedicated learning tracks! Multi-session curricula that run across the full weekend, each focused on a specific topic and skill level. Hand-picked instructors have designed these tracks from the ground up for MRM. You’ll work with the same group of guys and the same instructors all weekend, building on each session as you go. If you’ve ever wanted to commit a full weekend to leveling up in one area, this is your shot.

General Session Classes Still Available
We’re also continuing to provide General Session classes alongside the tracks. Different instructors, different topics, different perspectives.  Both paths run simultaneously, and you choose the one that fits how you want to spend your weekend.

Whether you decide on a track or general sessions, please know that over the weekend there are still 8 hours of unstructured roping time available to everyone.

Single Tickets Are Now Available
Something else we’re really excited about: some tracks will offer single tickets. No partner required. If you’ve been wanting to come to MRM but didn’t have someone to attend with, or you’re newer and weren’t sure if you were ready this year, we made room for you.

Unconference and Open Tying
Friday afternoon is a full unconference, you set the agenda, you pick the topics, you find your people.   The unConference continues on Sat & Sun with two hours each day of unstructured time for open tying, hanging out, or present a mini-topic.  That’s eight hours of open tying over the span of the conference.

More information coming soon, so keep an eye out for our next update!
