Suspension Uplines: From The Ground Up

This advanced rope bondage workshop will look at the various aspects of suspension uplines. We will discuss attaching a “Y” hanger to a rope harness, creating a pulley system with a reinforced bight or carabiner, and tie offs on the top and bottom of the upline. We will also discuss safety precautions such as handbreaking, clearing a rope jam on a carabiner, and identify the possible emergencies in rope suspension and 5 steps to addressing them.
